Milano Bridal Fair 2023

Milano bridal week is organized every year in spring time by SiSposa Italia for the buyers of the wedding industry. There one can see the new collections presented mainly by Italian brands. This is exactly the time for the brands and designers to showcase their new upcoming trends for the next year. After the fairs, they start the production of orders placed at the fairs and it will take around 6-8 months for the initial order to arrive in our wedding shop in Dubai, so you should be seeing all these selected models be the end of 2023 only, unless there is a special agreement.

We at Vanila Wedding boutique in Dubai have been visiting this fair every year for the past seven years, missing only one time in 2020 when COVID-19 pandemic hit the whole.

Recovering after the pandemic years, it is a pleasure to see the fair slowly expanding and offering new designers and new styles to the market. As mentioned earlier, the exhibition is mainly focused on the Italian brands by supporting its own bridal industry, but this doesn’t mean that other designers of the world cannot represent their collections for the Italian market as well. This time we visited many companies from Ukraine, Poland, Turkey and even Japan!

The Milano Bridal Fair comprises everything related to the wedding: not only bridal wear, but also men’s wedding suits, kid’s festive garments, bridal hair accessories, men’s wedding day accessories, evening wear, mother of the bride style, headwear and much more. Our bridal showroom in Dubai representative are trying to visit all the stands in order to find out the new trends and fetch something interesting for our beautiful brides-to-be.

This year’s noticeable trends are:

Square necklines: something that has been trending for a few years already is still there and with even a bigger influence on the models.

Double neckline : combination of sweetheart and square neck line at the same time, when one looks more as a breast support but on the other hand is the follow trend of the hi-street fashion.

Clean lines and wedding dress models made of satin with unusual details, for example, draped tops, asymmetrical straps, big bows, carved out or cut out elements, square cut front lines, etc.

Exaggerated floral prints or lace appliques are back in trends for 2024. Whether it is a lace pattern, or embossed print, the big flowers are back with us, so if you are looking into a more trendy rather than classic style, then it is your right choice.
