Wedding dress: playing with colors

01.09.2014

The white wedding dress is most usually worn by the bride as a tradition. The white represents the color of purity, clarity and honesty of thoughts. But it hasn’t been all the time like this.

Each nation has its own wedding traditions. Almost till the middle of the 19th century the wedding dresses were sewn out of colorful materials. White dress trend was created by Queen Victoria, who got married in 1840 in the white dress. Since then the white wedding dress is the main part of the celebration in many countries of Europe and even in Middle East, Africa and Asia.

White color is still the main trend in the wedding fashion. At the same time one can find wedding dresses in other colors in the wedding shop in Dubai: green-pistachio, pastel pink, golden, red and others. The bride who wants to stick out and be extremely unusual will definitely choose the colorful gown. The latest French and Italian wedding fashion shows presented dresses in absolutely unexpected colors, from apple red to light beige.

The black color shouldn’t be disregarded as well. The combination of black and white stays as classic as it can and the dress gives natural chic effect. A bit shocking was the presentation of the black wedding dress by Cymbeline Paris at the bridal fashion week once. That is true that a bride in a black dress will be definitely ingenious.

The color of the wedding dress usually tells a lot about its’ owner’s character unless it is a tradition. The bride who chose a very bright red gown is more of the eccentric and unpredictable nature. She is not scared to go “against the wedding color law and standards”. The yellow color usually represents that the bride likes to show-off and be in the big crowd and make everyone around happy with her joyful temper. Yellow is the color of the sun, happiness and warmth. The light blue color is more romantic. The girl in the light blue wedding gown is very stylish and elegant. Blue is stricter and will suit the brides with strong traits of character. Pastel colors will underline the tenderness and youth. Pink is most suitable for dreaming brides who want to be as wonderful as any princess from a fairy tale.
